MST-Guest Wireless Access

Guest services are provided for guests only.  Individuals that have S&T login credentials or an S&T registered device will need to access the MST wireless network.

Configure MST-Guest Wireless

If you have previously connected to the MST-GUEST Wi-Fi, you will have to follow the Forget the Network instructions at the bottom section before following the top section to connect.

  1. Click the Wi-Fi icon on the bottom right of the system bar.
  2. Select MST-GUEST from the listed networks.
  3. Click Connect.
  4. Enter the security key miner2020 (case sensitive).
  5. Click Next.
  6. When prompted with "Do you want to allow your PC to be discoverable by other PCs and devices on this network" select NO.
  7. Register your device to the network by following the Guests and Visitors instructions
  8. Then restart your Wi-Fi on your device by turning it off and back on.
  9. Click on the Wi-Fi icon on the bottom right of the system bar.
  10. Under the MST-GUEST Wi-Fi, select the Disconnect button.
  11. Then find and select GUEST-WI-FI and click on the Connect button.
  12. You are then connected to the MST-GUEST Wi-Fi.

If you are unable to connect: Forget the Network

  1. Click the Wi-Fi icon on the bottom right of the system bar.
  2. Click on Network & Internet settings at the bottom of the listed window.
  3. On the left-hand side column, click Wi-Fi.
  4. Find and select Manage known networks.
  5. Select the MST-Guest in the list of networks.
  6. Click Forget which appears on the right-hand side of the selected network.
  7. Follow the "Windows 10" steps above to try again.

 

If you have previously connected to the MST-GUEST Wi-Fi, you will have to follow the Forget the Network instructions at the bottom section before following the top section to connect.

  1. Click the Wi-Fi icon at the top right of the screen.
  2. Select MST-GUEST from the listed networks. 
  3. Enter the security key miner2020 (case sensitive).
  4. Click Join.
  5. Register your device to the network by following the Guests and Visitors instructions.
  6. Restart the Wi-Fi on the device by clicking on the Wi-Fi icon at the top right of the screen.
  7. Click on the toggle button to turn off the Wi-Fi, then turn it back on.
  8. You are then connected to the MST-GUEST Wi-Fi.

If you are unable to connect: Forget the Network

  1. Click the Wi-Fi icon at the top right of the screen.
  2. Find and select Open Network Preferences... at the bottom of the listed items.
  3. Select the Advanced... button at the bottom right of the window.
  4. Find and select MST-GUEST in the Preferred Networks: field.
  5. When MST-GUEST has been selected, click the Minus button on the left-hand side under the Preferred Networks: field.
  6. Click OK.
  7. Click Apply.
  8. Follow the "Mac" steps above to try again.

 

If you have previously connected to the MST-GUEST Wi-Fi, you will have to follow the Forget the Network instructions at the bottom section before following the top section to connect.

  1. Find and select the Wi-Fi icon on in the settings of your phone or at the top menu bar.
  2. Select MST-GUEST from the listed networks.
  3. Enter the password miner2020 (case sensitive).
  4. Click Connect.
  5. Register your device to the network by following the Guests and Visitors instructions.
  6. Restart the Wi-Fi by selecting the Wi-Fi icon in the settings of your phone or at the top menu bar to turn it off.
  7. Select the Wi-Fi icon to turn it back on.
  8. You are then connected to the MST-GUEST Wi-Fi.

If you are unable to connect: Forget the Network

  1. Go to the Wi-Fi settings in the settings app or at the top menu bar.
  2. Click on the settings gear next to MST-GUEST in the listed networks.
  3. Click Forget at the top of the screen.
  4. Follow the "Android Phone" steps above to try again.

 

If you have previously connected to the MST-GUEST Wi-Fi, you will have to follow the Forget the Network instructions at the bottom section before following the top section to connect.

  1. Find and go to the Settings application.
  2. Find and select Wi-Fi in the listed settings.
  3. Select MST-GUEST from the listed networks.
  4. Enter the password miner2020 (case sensitive).
  5. Click Join on the top right of the screen.
  6. Register your device to the network by following the Guests and Visitors instructions.
  7. Restart your device's Wi-Fi by selecting the Wi-Fi in the Settings to turn it off.
  8. Select it again to turn it back on.
  9. You are then connected to the MST-GUEST Wi-Fi.

If you are unable to connect: Forget the Network

  1. Go to the Settings application.
  2. Select Wi-Fi in the listed settings.
  3. Find and select the MST-GUEST from the listed networks at the top of your screen.
  4. Click on Forget This Network at the top of the screen.
  5. Follow the "iPhone" steps above to try again.
