Marco is the approved provider for IT-funded printer and copier support on our campus. Due to budget constraints, IT is unable to fund additional campus printing without appropriate leadership approval. IT prefers departments use group printers and copiers as much as possible. Replacing existing printers will not increase the overall print expense to the campus but will require approval. The appropriate Dean, VP or VC, and the IT CIO review and approve all printer and copier requests. See the monthly costs per unit on the "Printers" tab of the Hardware Pricing Sheet.
Departments that elect to purchase a printer without adding it to the Marco contract will be charged an installation and networking fee of $35 per hour and no additional printer support will be provided by IT after that is completed.
