Network Segmentation Services

As part of the network modernization project, we will be implementing segmentation software; strengthening our network security by segmenting devices based on identity, behavior, and risk level. Leveraging micro segmentation capabilities, our primary goal is to limit exposure to potential threats, with a specific focus on isolating unmanaged, unknown, and BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) equipment while also providing researchers with increased flexibility for their research.

Deploying Segmentation Services requires new network hardware that will be installed in the building upgrade portion of the project. Some locations may get partial support early as needed to help support research.
