MST-PSK-N Wireless Setup

PSK is a password-protected, moderately secure, wireless network which requires devices to be registered for access.

Before configuring the MST-PSK Wi-Fi, please register your device to our network.

REGISTER DEVICE 

Configure MST-PSK Wireless

  1. Click the network icon in the system bar
  2. If your building broadcasts MST-PSK-N use it, otherwise select MST-PSK
  3. Select MST-PSK-N under Wireless Network Connection
  4. The security key is JoeMiner (case sensitive)
  5. Click Connect

 

If you are unable to connect: Forget the Network

  1. Click the Wi-Fi icon on the bottom right of the system bar.
  2. Click on Network & Internet settings at the bottom of the listed window.
  3. On the left-hand side column, click Wi-Fi.
  4. Find and select Manage known networks.
  5. Select the MST-PSK-N in the list of networks.
  6. Click Forget that appears on the right-hand side of the selected network.
  7. Follow the "Windows 10" steps above to try again.
  1. Click the wireless icon in the top menu bar
  2. Select MST-PSK-N
  3. The security password is JoeMiner (case sensitive)
  4. Click Ok

 

If you are unable to connect: Forget the Network

  1. Click the Wi-Fi icon at the top right of the screen.
  2. Find and select Open Network Preferences... at the bottom of the listed items.
  3. Select the Advanced... button at the bottom right of the window.
  4. Find and select MST-PSK-N in the Preferred Networks: field.
  5. When MST has been selected, click the Minus button on the left-hand side under the Preferred Networks: field.
  6. Click OK.
  7. Click Apply.
  8. Follow the "Mac" steps above to try again.
  1. Select the Wi-Fi icon on the settings of your phone or at the top menu bar.
  2. If your building broadcasts MST-PSK-N use it, otherwise select MST-PSK.
  3. Select MST-PSK-N in the listed networks.
  4. The security key is JoeMiner (case sensitive)
  5. Click Connect.

If you are having trouble registering to the network: Turn off MAC address randomization

Google Pixel:

  1. Open Settings
  2. Open Network and Internet
  3. Select Wifi
  4. Connect to the MST-PSK network
  5. Tap the gear icon next to the MST-PSK connection
  6. Tap Advanced
  7. Tap Privacy
  8. Select "Use device MAC"

Samsung Galaxy:

  1. Open Settings
  2. Open Network and Internet
  3. Select Wifi
  4. Connect to the MST-PSK network
  5. Tap the gear icon next to the MST-PSK connection
  6. Select Advanced
  7. Choose Mac Address Type
  8. Select "Use Phone/Device MAC"

If you are unable to connect: Forget the Network

  1. Go to the Wifi settings in the settings app or at the top menu bar.
  2. Click on the settings gear next to MST-PSK-N in the listed networks.
  3. Click Forget at the top of the screen.
  4. Follow the "Android Phone" steps above to try again.

 

  1. Find and go to the Settings application.
  2. Select Wi-Fi in the listed option on the screen.
  3. If your building broadcasts MST-PSK-N use it, otherwise select MST-PSK
  4. Select the MST-PSK-N in the list of wifi networks.
  5. The security key is JoeMiner (case sensitive)
  6. Click Join.

If you are having trouble registering to the network: Turn off private MAC address

  1. Open the Settings app
  2. Tap the information button next to a network
  3. Tap to turn Private Address off. If you join a network with this setting off, you will get a privacy warning that this setting is off.

If you are unable to connect: Forget the Network

  1. Go to the Settings application.
  2. Select Wifi in the listed settings.
  3. Find and select the MST-PSK-N from the listed networks at the top of your screen.
  4. Click on Forget This Network at the top of the screen.
  5. Follow the "iPhone" steps above to try again.
