Analog Phone Features
The following list of features and instructions are only for analog phones (VoIP phones have similar features, but the implementation of these features is completely different).

Dial [3] + [number] to initiate a local off-campus call
- Dial [3] + [1] + [area code] + [number} to initiate a long-distance call
Caller ID and Call Waiting Caller ID
Both Caller ID an Call Waiting Caller ID are available for analog phones that support these features. Call Waiting Caller ID requires the call waiting feature to be enabled.
- Press the flash key once during the call. The caller will be placed on hold.
- Press [#] [2] (the pound key "#" and the number "2" key) to initiate the transfer.
- Dial the number to which the call will be transferred.
- Hang up. You may press the flash key again to retrieve the caller if the line is busy or if you misdialed.
- Press the flash key once during the call. The caller will be placed on hold.
- Dial the number to which the call should be transferred.
- Press the flash key to initiate the call transfer or to retrieve the caller if the line is busy or if you misdial.
- If the supervised announcement call is successful, press [#] [2] to complete the supervised transfer.
- Establish call number 1 (either you have made an outgoing call or you have received an incoming call).
- Press the flash key to answer the second incoming call when the call waiting tone is heard or after the call waiting caller ID is displayed on phones supporting the Call Waiting Caller ID feature.
- Press the flash key to switch between the active calls.
- Establish call number 1.
- Press the flash key to place the first caller on hold.
- Press [#] [2] as if you were to initiate a call transfer.
- Dial call number 2.
- Press the flash key when call number 2 completes or abandon call number 2 and return to the original caller.
- Press [#] [3] to join the two active calls into a three-way call.
- Get dial tone by taking the handset off-hook.
- Press [*] [7] [2] followed by the dial digits where the phone should be forwarded (remember to dial a [3] if the phone will be forwarded to an off-campus number).
NOTE: You can forward to local numbers only.
Call Forward All to Voicemail (phone line must have voicemail enabled)
- Get dial tone by taking the handset off-hook.
- Press [*] [7] [0]. Now all your incoming calls will be directly transferred to voicemail.
- Get dial tone by taking the handset off-hook.
- Press [*] [7] [3].
Access Voicemail On-Campus or Remotely (phone line must have voicemail enabled)
- If on-campus dial 7999 or 3-341-7999. Dialing off campus is 341-7999.
- Enter ID (this will be the last 4 digits of your phone number). If accessing off campus, Enter your 10-digit phone number.
- Once you hear your voicemail message start to play, press the * key.
- Enter your voicemail password when prompted.
Group Call Pickup (requires phone to be a member of a call pickup group)
- Get dial tone by taking the handset off-hook or access the feature tone by pressing the flash key during a call.
- Press [*] [7] [6] to pickup a ringing line that is a member of your call group.
- Get dial tone by taking the handset off-hook or access the feature tone by pressing the flash key.
- Press [*] [*] [x] where x is the numeric digit 1 - 9 representing the desired speed dial entry.
- Get dial tone by taking the handset off-hook or access the feature tone by pressing the flash key during a call.
- Press [#] [#] to redial the last called number.
