Cathy S. Allison has more than 25 years of senior leadership experience. She is currently serving as the IT Director for IT Campus Technology Support, which includes Academic Technology and Data Science, Classroom and Computer Lab Support, Desktop Engineering and Desktop Support, Helpdesk and Campus Innovation Support. She has a diversified background in both technical and leadership areas, working within complex organizations of Fortune 100 companies. Along with her higher education experience, she has leadership experiences in Manufacturing Technology Excellence with green field site start-ups for General Motors, Ford, PPG Industries, Harley-Davidson, and Indian Motorcycle Company. She has a reputation of successfully engaging employees to drive continuous improvement amid rapid change. She is able to analyze and prioritize challenges, while building positive working relationships at all levels of the organization.
Cathy earned her MBA in Marketing and Management from Rockhurst College in Kansas City and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Management from Southwest Missouri State University. She holds certifications in ITIL, ITSM and is a certified PMP, Six Sigma green belt, and an Agile ScrumMaster.
As a consultant, her clients included Haldex Brakes, Briggs & Stratton, Frasca Aviation, Doe Run and US Highland. Cathy also served on the Board of Directors for the non-profit Rolla Area Sheltered Workshop.
