Turn off Logon Screen Saver in Windows

The link below includes documentation, provided by Microsoft for turning off your logon screen saver.  The logon screen saver differs from a normal screen saver because it only runs when the user is logged off (or the CTRL+Alt_Del "logon" screen is up) to protect the screen from damage during long periods when it is not in use.  When possible, you should turn off your computer monitor when you are logged off AND make sure your logon screen saver is turned off, as it causes the CPU to consume more power.

Note: You must have administrative right to your computer to change this setting.  If you do not have admin rights, please contact the IT Help Desk at 573-341-4357 (HELP) for assistance.
