Telephone Services

Telephones

 Yealink T27G

Voice-over Internet Protocol (VoIP) telephones make calls over an Internet Protocol network and are run through the same Ethernet ports computers use to access the internet.

Available under special circumstances only, analog phones, with similar features to the VoIP phones, are offered by IT. Contact 573-341-6330 for more information.

Mobile Phones

University departments often have a business need for cellular/wireless service. IT establishes contracts with cellular/wireless service providers for reduced-rate service and assists departments in managing those services. Departments are responsible for identifying those faculty and staff who require the use of cellular/wireless telephones or other wireless services to carry out their assigned duties.

Missouri S&T has discounts available for faculty, staff, and students on personal mobile phone plans from AT&T and Sprint.

Jack Activation

Data jack and phone jack activation is the responsibility of Networks and Computing.  Rates vary based on type of activation.
