Guests of Information Technology

IT serves the campus community of students, faculty, and staff members by providing Internet access and computing machines. We have over three dozen Computer Learning Centers (CLC) scattered across campus, some of which are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We also provide customer support for a wide range of computer issues via a Call Center, a Walk-in Center, and roving Desktop Support personnel.

All campus dormitories, sororities, and fraternities are connected to the core campus network through the Residential Network (ResNet).

Open / Public Wireless Access

For security reasons, Information Technology (IT) maintains a private wireless network accessible to university students, faculty, and staff only. However, university visitors and guests can still use wireless network devices in several locations around campus for convenience. Open wireless network access is available in almost 100% of the Havener Center and in Curtis Laws Wilson Library on the east side of the ground floor as well as the entire second floor.
